Malverne School District seeks Teacher Assistants for the 2025-2026 school year.REQUIREMENTS: Valid NYS Teacher certification in Students with Disabilities preferredNYS Teacher Assistant Certification (Level I, II, or III)Full NYS fingerprint clearance ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Plan and support the implementation of specially designed instruction under the supervision of a certified Special Education teacher.Assist in the delivery of instruction in either co-teaching classes or special education classes.Provide academic and behavioral support in accordance with students’ IEPs.Assist with data collection and documentation related to student progress.Participate in school and district meetings and professional development activities.Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising teacher, Chairperson, Principal or other appropriate administrators.
