The Middleburgh Central School District is seeking a school social worker who wants to join a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing school environment for all. Applicants with either NYSED Certification or Civil Service experience are encouraged to apply. A salary range of $45,022 - $62,942 will be offered based on experience and education. This is a full-time, probationary appointment effective July 1, 2024.Middleburgh is located 8 miles off from the I-88 Cobleskill exit with an easy 30-45 minute commute from most locations in the immediate Capital District. Progress monitoring responsibilities. Medicaid billing as appropriate. Participating in crisis interventions and training as neededCollaborating with a multidisciplinary group of staff to support student needsParticipating in CPSE/CSE meetings as requiredServe as liaison with community and state service agencies: Provide community resources to parents/guardians as needed. Coordinate and/or collaborate with a range of individuals/agencies to promote and provide comprehensive services to students and families.Any other duties assigned by the building administrators.
