The Middleburgh Central School District is seeking an experienced school social worker who wants to join a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing school environment for all. Applicants with either NYSED Certification or Civil Service experience are encouraged to apply. A salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 will be offered based on experience and education. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, and for those nearing retirement age, we are willing to negotiate the number of years required to attain benefits in retirement. This is a full-time, probationary appointment effective October 19, 2022.Middleburgh is located 8 miles off from the I-88 Cobleskill exit with an easy 30-45 commute from most locations in the immediate Capital District. Progress monitoring responsibilities. Medicaid billing as appropriate. Participating in crisis interventions and training as neededCollaborating with a multidisciplinary group of staff to support student needsParticipating in CPSE/CSE meetings as requiredServe as liaison with community and state service agencies: Provide community resources to parents/guardians as needed. Coordinate and/or collaborate with a range of individuals/agencies to promote and provide comprehensive services to students and families.Any other duties assigned by the building administrators.
