The Madison Central School District is accepting applications for a Food Service Helper. The successful candidate would have the duties of assisting in preparation and service of all foods, operating the cash register and accounts for daily receipts, must understand food sanitation guidelines, would assist in dish room (machine wash or hand wash lunch trays, pots, pans, utensils, etc.), would perform cleaning duties, including equipment, food service line and prep area, would check and store incoming supplies, assist in maintaining inventory, operate mixer, slicer or other mechanical equipment, be responsible for daily menu boards, snacks and portion control and must be able to maintain positive relationships with students of all ages.The hours of work would be 7:30 am -1:30 pm, Monday through Friday with salary as per contract with benefits available.Applications accepted until position is filled.Madison Central School is a PreK-12 District serving approximately 455 students and is located within 25 miles of Colgate University, SUNY Morrisville, Hamilton College, Cazenovia College, Mohawk Valley Community College, SUNY Poly and Utica College.
