Speech and Language Therapist Long Term SubstituteResponsible for speech and language therapy services in compliance with student IEP's for students in the Elementary and Jr/Sr High School including but not limited to: Assessment, development of goals, provision of speech services, home/school communication, developmentally appropriate classroom interventions, participation in CSE and Section 504 Committee meetings, etc. Serve as a collegial team member in a dynamic PK-6 educational setting. Perform other duties as required. Previous speech experience working with students with disabilities preferred.QUALIFICATIONS: NYS Certification in one of the following areas: Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities, Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped, or Speech/Language Pathologist. SLP graduate students working toward their NYS Certification and/or SLP License will be considered with SLP supervision provided by the MCSD.
