Notice of Anticipated VacancyMay 24, 2023 School PsychologistManhasset Schools: District Wide.This position is available September 1st, 2023 Position Description: District-wide position chairing initial eligibility committee meetings and collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents to support students with disabilities.Responsibilities consist of chairing the Committee of Special Education (CSE) and Section 504 initial eligibility meetings of students in grades K through 12: observing students in their educational settings and conducting evaluations.Prior experience as a school psychologist chairing committee meetings in an elementary and/or secondary school environment preferred. Experience with the services and supports for students with disabilities, administration of psychological, educational, and behavioral/social/emotional assessments, and knowledge of the Federal and NYSED regulations.Qualifications: Appropriate New York State School Psychologist certification required.
