POSITION: Modified Softball Coach SUPERVISOR: Director of PE, Health & Athletics and Varsity Softball Coach DATE POSITIONS BECOME AVAILABLE: Spring 2024, April 1, 2024 REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Modified coach is responsible for all aspects of the modified team, including but not limited to:Must hold NYS coaching license or have an active NYS teaching license Hold or obtain valid CPR/First Aid, Child Abuse, Violence Prevention Workshop, and DASA CertificatesObtain mandated fingerprint clearance Have knowledge of softball fundamentalsAdhere to NYSPHSAA, Section 1, and school policies & regulationsCooperatively plan, organize, and implement effective practice and game plansHave knowledge of physical and emotional needs of adolescent girlsRecord and inventory uniforms and equipmentAttend preseason meetingAccept direct supervision from varsity coach SALARY: In accordance with the Agreement between the Board of Education and Mamaroneck Teachers’ Association
