Location: Murray/TBDPosition Available: Immediately Supervisor: Building Principal and Director of Special Education Requirements: NYS Special Education SWD Certification Grades 1-6 and/or Early Childhood Certification Responsibilities/Skillset: Support of students’ academic, emotional and behavioral needs as indicated by the IEP. Ability to plan for and develop differentiated learning plans within a structured learning environmentAbility to develop IEPs including assessment, goals, modifications, and accommodationsTools and systems to progress monitor Experience implementing positive behavior reinforcement systems, collecting behavioral data and supporting students’ self-regulation skills Knowledge of stages of child developmentStrong communication and collaboration skillsExperience in Integrated Co-teaching and/or Resource Room assignments Certification as a behavior analyst, a plus Compensation: In accordance with the Agreement between the Board of Education and the Mamaroneck Teachers’ Association.
