Location: Hommocks Middle School Supervisor: Building Principal Requirements: Candidate must hold a N.Y.S. Teaching Assistant Certification RESPONSIBILITIES:Support of students’ academic, emotional and behavioral needs as indicated by the IEP. Ability to implement strategies and practices as directed by the special education teacher or school psychologist, including a positive reinforcement system.Lead lessons in social emotional learning and provide in the moment coaching to students.Collaboration and communication with administration and staff on behalf of the student’s success Willingness to obtain training in the SEL domain.
