POSITION: Teacher Aide (2 vacancies) LOCATION: Hommocks Middle School HOURS: Monday – Friday, 32.50 hours per week SUPERVISOR: Building Assistant Principal DATE POSITION IS AVAILABLE: February 27, 2023 RESPONSIBILITIES – General Education Aide: · Assist classroom teacher· Monitor the health and well-being of students in his/her care· Supervise students during lunch/recess· Support with serving food and preparing trays· Effectively communicate with classroom teacher and administration· Other duties as assigned PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:· A professional, patient, and calm demeanor with children of all ages COMPENSATION: In accordance with the Agreement between the Board of Education and the Mamaroneck Teacher Aides Unit.
