Position: Music Choral Teacher – Long-Term Substitute/Leave Replacement Location: Mamaroneck High School Position Available: January 3, 2023 Supervisor: Principal Requirements: N.Y.S. Music Certification • Successful teaching and conducting experience.• Strong vocal skills.• Knowledge of various vocal pedagogies.• Demonstrates effective choral conducting techniques.• Ability to teach sight reading through Solfege. • Ability to communicate successfully with parents and colleagues. • Candidate must be dedicated and passionate about teaching and developing student musicians; with the ability to recruit, attract and retain Choral members. Compensation: In accordance with the Agreement between the Board of Education and the Mamaroneck Teachers’ Association.
