The Mahopac Central School District seeks several Network Specialist positions to undertake work previously completed by third party contractors. This transition is intended to secure the long term reliability of network support from employees trained in Mahopac specific processes and procedures, while strengthening our cybersecurity posture by bringing more systems administration expertise into a direct employment position. Job Responsibilities may include but not limited to:Perform cabling, installation, and configuration of network equipment as directedRespond to Technology Service RequestsSupport smooth operations of Technology for use by students and employees as assignedOther responsibilities as outlined in the Network Specialist Civil Service Job Specification Special Skills: Ability to lift and carry 50lbs; Comfort working on ladder or ceiling spaces; Ability to work in confined / low clearance areas; Manual dexterity and fine motor skills; Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; Capacity for occasional after-hours and weekend work Salary: per UPSEU-Administrative Bargaining Agreement Currently $59,877-$63,760.Location: Falls School Application deadline: May 20, 2025 NOTE: Candidate must qualify through the Putnam County Personnel Department and/or pass the appropriate Civil Service examination and be one of the top three willing to accept the position.
