The Mahopac Central School District seeks to fill the following anticipated probationary positions for the 2025/2026 School Year: Elementary Teachers – Fulmar Road Elementary School & Lakeview Elementary SchoolThe successful candidate(s)will:Valid NYS certification in Pre-K-6, Childhood Education (Grades 1-6), and/or Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 2) is required.Experience with Teachers College Reading/Writing ProjectProven ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and partner with students & parents in the learning process.Experience designing student-centered lessons and engaging curricula that individually challenges students and inspires them to grow.Thoughtful, reflective practitioner that is culturally responsive in their pedagogical approach with a proven commitment to the principles of equity and inclusion.Highly skilled in differentiating instruction to personalize learning to meet the diverse needs of all students.Demonstrated understanding of authentic assessment, data-driven instruction, and methods for gathering and evaluating evidence of deeper learning.Experience integrating Science or Reading research into K-5 Literacy.The Mahopac Central School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Anyone interested in applying for the above-mentioned position should complete an application on OLAS and visit the Human Resources page of the Mahopac website no later than April 4, 2025.
