The Mahopac Central School District seeks to fill the following position:: Special Education Leave Replacement Teacher - 8:1:2 Special Class (Grades 3-5) – Lakeview Elementary SchoolTeam Player: Collaborate with colleagues to provide the best education for our students. Flexible: Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.Supportive and Caring: Provide emotional and academic guidance.Familiar with Teachers College Units of Study: Experience with reading and writing workshops. Proficient in IEP Direct: Manage Individualized Education Programs efficiently. Comfortable with Multiple Grade Levels: Teach across various grade levels.Provide support to children with emotional dysregulation needs in a compassionate environment.NYS Special Education certification is required.
