The Mahopac Central School District seeks to fill the following probationary position for the 2024/2025 School Year: Assistant Principal – Mahopac Middle SchoolThe successful candidate will haveexperience (or aptitude) for building and implementing behavioral and academic systems to create the best possible learning environment.an understanding of curriculum and supervision to support the school’s instructional program. experience conducting staff observations and evaluations using the Danielson Framework.the ability to motivate and collaborate with staff, students, and parents in support of carrying out the district’s mission.the ability to handle disciplinary procedures, record keeping, and parent outreach aligned with our District’s Code of Conduct.an understanding of master schedule construction and implementation.a strong understanding of Special Education. a strong work ethic with excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.New York State Certification as a School Building Leader (SBL) or School Building Administrator (SBA).The Mahopac Central School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
