The Mahopac Central School District seeks to fill the following anticipated probationary position for the 2022/2023 School Year: Supervisor of Elementary Special Education – DistrictwideProcess and demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in the CSE process and procedures Supervise special education classes, conduct observations and evaluations Supervise special education teachers and teaching assistants in conjunction with building principals Assist regular education teachers, related service providers, social workers and psychologists to meet the needs of students with IEPs Work collaboratively with building administrators regarding decisions about students with IEPs Recommend program adjustments/changes to the Director of Special Education Chair CSE meetings and 504 meetings Communicate CSE decisions to buildings Review referrals Request evaluations as needed Organize, implement, and supervise summer programs for extended school year students Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Special Education and the SuperintendentThe Mahopac Central School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
