Elementary Principal (Grades 3–5) Liverpool Central School District is seeking an exceptional educational leader to serve as an Elementary Principal for one of our elementary schools serving students in grades 3–5. This is an outstanding opportunity for a collaborative, student-centered administrator who is committed to academic excellence, fostering positive relationships, and building a school culture where every student and staff member can thrive. The successful candidate will lead a school of approximately 400 students while partnering with dedicated teachers, support staff, families, and district leadership to ensure high levels of learning and achievement for all students. Key Responsibilities Provide visionary instructional leadership that promotes continuous academic growth and student achievement. Supervise, support, and evaluate certified and non-certified staff while fostering professional growth and accountability. Build and sustain a positive, inclusive, and student-centered school climate and culture. Develop meaningful relationships with students, staff, and families while maintaining strong lines of communication. Utilize student achievement and behavioral data to inform instructional practices and school improvement efforts. Collaborate with district leaders, colleagues, and school teams to implement district initiatives and strategic priorities. Ensure a safe, supportive, and well-managed learning environment for approximately 400 students. Oversee daily building operations, including scheduling, student discipline, emergency procedures, and school events. Attend evening and weekend school events and serve as a visible, engaged leader within the school community. Demonstrate sound decision-making, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Desired Qualifications The ideal candidate will demonstrate: A passion for elementary education and student success. Proven experience as an instructional leader with a focus on improving student outcomes. Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. The ability to inspire, motivate, and develop staff while fostering collaboration and teamwork. Experience supervising and evaluating instructional personnel. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills. A visible leadership style that emphasizes trust, collaboration, and accountability. Required Qualifications New York State School Building Leader (SBL) Successful administrative and teaching experience preferred.
