The Lindenhurst UFSD is seeking an occupational therapist to provide school-age services within the district. New York State Occupational therapy certification/licensure required. Candidates should be on the Suffolk County Civil Service list.General Responsibilities:Provide mandated and non-mandated occupational therapy sessions for school-age students.Track progress related to student goals and development of student IEPs.Record and submit attendance and session notes as per Medicaid requirements.Participation in building level meetings along with 504/CSE meetingsOngoing communication with staff and parents.All applications should be submitted via OLAS and job-specific cover letters should be addressed to Ms. Irene DeNisco, Director of Special Education and PPS.
