The Lindenhurst School District seeks a dynamic Mathematics teacher who is dedicated to creating a classroom environment that incorporates students' lives into every lesson, promoting true learning every day. The ideal candidate must possess a strong mathematics background and be flexible enough to teach all courses from grade 7 math to AP Calculus. Responsibilities of the position include teaching regular mathematics classes, participating in co-taught models, attending meetings and initiatives, engaging in professional development, participating in extra-curricular activities, and playing an active role in the school community. Keeping up with current educational research and pedagogy related to classroom instruction and educational trends is also a requirement.
