The Lindenhurst UFSD is seeking candidates who possess NYS certification in Students with Disabilities for an anticipated teaching position at the elementary level.The successful candidate must be driven, flexible and adaptable, as teaching responsibilities may include leading instruction for our students in special class environments. Additionally, the successful candidate should possess the following:Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with students, families, and staffKnowledge and experience implementing differentiated instruction at all levels of academic ability Ability to provide a learning environment that supports the social-emotional well-being of all students and challenge them to work to the best of their abilityQualified candidates must submit resume, letter of interest and proof of certification through OLAS.
