The Lindenhurst School District is seeking to hire a dynamic part-time mathematicsteacher who is driven to create a classroom where students’ lives are incorporated inevery lesson and true learning takes place on a daily basis. The ideal candidate willhave a strong mathematics background with the flexibility to teach all courses fromgrade 7 math to AP Calculus. Responsibilities include teaching approximately 4sections of mathematics, push-in/pull-out model, participating collegially in meetingsand initiatives, professional development, extra-curricular activities and taking an activerole in the life of the school community.
