Director of Technology and Information Systems Responsibilities:Provides leadership, coordination and integration of technology into the district’s educational programs.Develops and leads ongoing and long-range planning for the district’s educational programs and educational technology needs, resulting in a district 5-year plan.Supervises the business programs and staff.Supervises instructional technology and support staff.Coordinates technology training and staff development.Oversees evaluation of hardware, software, and Internet websites for use in the instructional program.Obtains grant funding for technology programs, when available.Serves as a resource to district staff in developing and implementing building plans for the use of technology in the classroom.Assumes all other duties as assigned.Participates in county and regional technology events. Qualifications:NYS SDL or SDA Certification required.Expertise in the use of instructional technology.Strong interpersonal and communications skills.Problem-solving and decision-making ability. Salary: Per Administrative Contract Effective Date: July 1, 2026
