The successful candidate will provide the leadership necessary to promote a rigorous andcomprehensive instructional program that ensures the academic, social, and emotional success of adiverse student body of students in an elementary school setting.QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent human relations skills. Outstanding personal and professional integrity Demonstrates the ability to be an instructional leader in core subject areas Supports teachers during high-quality professional development in literacy and mathematics Passionate about teaching and learning for all students Valid NYS certification as School Administrator & Supervisor (SAS) or School Building Leader(SBL) Minimum of five (5) years of relevant school teaching experience grades K-6 Thorough knowledge of Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Standards & NYS Assessments Experience with using student management systems Experience implementing socio-emotional skills education. Successful experience integrating technology initiatives to increase student achievement andengagement aimed at developing 21st-century skills in students Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster collaboration among stakeholders; includingparents, teachers, staff, and community, in supporting student successSalary: In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement of MIAA
