ANTICIPATED2023-2024 BEHAVIORAL SPECIALIST (BCBA) RESPONSIBILITIES: Behavioral Specialists (BCBA) will include working collaboratively with the school psychologist assigned to the Alternate Learning Program.Provide training for teachers, related service providers, and support staff in data collection and the implementation of behavior management strategies.Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and creating Behavior Intervention Plans, as well as possessing formal training and practical knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and intervention strategies.Conducting/facilitating team meetings and participation at Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings to report on data collection and progress toward goals is also required.Behavioral Specialists (BCBA) will have other responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director of Special Education.
