We are hiring a Speech Language Pathologist/ CFY for our Prospect Center - Queensbury, NY.We are currently offering a $6,000 sign on bonus for Speech Language Pathologists joining our team! Prospect Center has been a leader in improving the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families in the Tri-County Area (Warren, Washington, and Saratoga counties). Our work in advocacy, education, services, and support has created a wider world of opportunity, greater acceptance and more integrated lives for people who have disabilities. Responsibilities: Contributes to the mission of the Center, Clinical Department and assigned programs by working collaboratively with program directors and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality, state-of-the-art, cost effective services to all individuals served and their familiesRequirements: Graduate degree (Masters) in field of Speech-Language Pathology is requiredSpecialized training, license, certification, skills: NYS Licensure/Registration - Speech-Language Pathologists, NYS Teaching Certificate as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence required for all who supervise college interns and Clinical FellowsProfessional experience with working with individuals with developmental, physical and neurological disorders preferred, CFY's are welcome.Must be at least 18 years old to apply for this position. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 poundsThis position is 37.5 hours/week.The compensation range for this position is $34.53 to $37.72 and is commensurate with experience. This rate does not include the listed bonus.
