The Center for Disability Services offers hope, innovation and achievement to the people we support.For 80 years, we have been one of upstate New York’s largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities. Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere.We are searching for a Physical Therapist for our School program. This position is split between our Langan and preschool programs, all Albany locations. The Langan and Clover Patch School (a program of the Center for Disability Services) is a private, non-profit school for students with disabilities between the ages of 5 and 21. This position follows a school calendar with a mandatory six weeks summer school session. This position is eligible for PSLF loan forgiveness through the government.$4000 Sign on Bonus.Responsibilities:Contributes to the mission of the Center, Clinical Department and assigned programsWorks collaboratively with program directors and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality, state-of-the-art, cost effective services to all students served and their familiesRequirements:NYS Licensure and registration to practice Physical TherapyProfessional experience working with children and/or young adults with developmental, physical, neurological disorders and individuals with Autistic Spectrum Disorders is preferredProfessional experience providing Physical Therapy Services in a school based setting is preferredLess than 1 year job related experience requiredMust be at least 18 years old to apply for this positionMust be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.Rate of pay is commensurate on experience.At The Center for Disability Services, we don’t just accept difference – we celebrate it, support it, and thrive on it for the benefit of our employees and the people we support.
