Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhereSpecial Ed Teacher-Sign on Bonus-**$4,000 Sign-On BonusWe are searching for a Full Time- Float Master Special Education Teacher to join our agency! Responsibilities:Serves the mission of the Center and the Education Division by developing, implementing, and evaluating the individual education and family service plans for all assigned students according to program guidelines. Provides leadership and direction to the interdisciplinary team of professionals and paraprofessionals who provide services to assigned students. Supervises and directs the work of assigned classroom education staff. Works collaboratively with parents, school districts, municipalities, and other agencies to ensure that the student’s needs are met. Ability to travel to all education sites to assist as needed is required.Minimum Qualifications:Initial NYS Certification in Special EducationBachelor’s degree in Special Education and currently pursuing Masters Degree in Special EducationMust be at least 18 years old.Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently. Preferred Qualifications:New York State permanent certification in Special EducationMasters Degree in Special EducationMinimum of two years of experience with students with multiple disabilities.
