REQUIREMENTS:NYS Certification in Students with Disabilities 1-6BCBA Certification: Board Certified Behavior AnalystRESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and design lesson plans and assignments consistent with the regular teacher's past lesson plans (in support of students IEPs). Modify the curriculum to meet the cognitive and sensory needs of each student.Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify specific triggers and reinforcements for challenging behaviors as needed.Develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) as needed and consult with staff on their implementation.Utilize specific Applied behavior Analysis (ABA) teaching modalities to build academic and life skills.Consult with teachers and other staff on the use of appropriate teaching modalities to build academic and life skills.Continuously collect and graph data on student performance and make ongoing adjustments to teaching methods as needed.Build relationships with students and their families through regular communication on IEP progress and feedback.START: ~April 14, 2026 through June 30, 2026SALARY: $175 per day
