The Locust Valley Central School District is looking for a School Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional healthcare services for students, teachers, and faculty. This role requires a compassionate nurse who can be a partner to the school community in the delivery of quality healthcare.Duties and Responsibilities:• Perform medical screening, assessment, and diagnosis of students• Administer immunizations and medications to students• Provide healthcare education to students, faculty, and staff• Collaborate with medical professionals and other healthcare providers• Facilitate referrals to appropriate medical and community-based resources• Maintain accurate records of medical care• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and school policies• Promote preventive health practicesWork Hours and Benefits:This position is a full-time position with work hours during school days.
