Position: Part-Time Adult Education Digital Literacy/Computer Skills Instructor (Flexible hours for day and/or evening shifts-up to 20 hours per week) Location: Adult Education Center Description: The ideal candidate will have experience teaching basic computer skills such as navigating the internet, using Microsoft Office applications, Google Suite, and troubleshooting common computer issues. The instructor can also instruct computer skills to students studying English, those seeking to obtain a job or new career, and/or those preparing for their GED. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Education or equivalent experience At least two years of teaching experienceProficiency with iOS and Android smartphones and tablets Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with cloud-based computingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.Experience with teaching diverse learners at multiple levels.Knowledge of iC3 Digital Literacy suite of products and iC3 certification a plus! Will have the opportunity to to obtain the iC3 teaching certification Responsibilities: Conduct beginner-level computer skills workshops in a classroom settingCreate engaging and interactive lesson plans for each sessionProvide individualized instruction to participants based on their skill levelAssist with setup and maintenance of lab equipment. Compensation: $26.50 pr hour-$37.14 per hour-depending on experience and degree
