Description: We are seeking an experienced career counselor or employment counselor to join our team part-time. The successful candidate will work with adult learners to help them achieve their educational and career goals. Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, psychology, or a related field is required. At least 2 years of experience in adult education counseling or a related field. Knowledge of local education and employment markets. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities: Conduct individual and group career counseling sessionsAssess clients' skills, interests, and values to determine their career goalsHelp clients develop job search strategies and identify potential opportunitiesProvide guidance on resume and cover letter writing, interviewing skills, and job application processesHelp students connect with local employers and job opportunities.Offer support services to students throughout their educational and career journey.Keep up-to-date on educational and career trends and adapt counseling strategies accordingly. Compensation: $26.50 per hour-$37.14 per hour-depending on experience and degree
