Position: (1) Probationary Full Time Teacher Assistant (2) Regular Substitute Full Time Teacher AssistantsLocation: Lido School Description: Job duties may include physically assisting students with tasks like eating, using the bathroom, riding the bus and moving from one classroom to another. In addition, assistants are often called upon to provide instructional support. Supports students with activities of daily living including, toileting, eating and helping with outerwear. May monitor and record student’s academic performance or behavior. Works closely with teacher to adapt materials to fit the needs of their students. Qualifications: Experience with Data CollectionAbility to assist with technology in the classroomAbility to work with othersAbility to implement positive behavioral supportsWillingness to support students with activities of daily livingWillingness to provide physical assistance to students in crisis situations Certification: Teacher Assistant License or Special Education Teaching Certification, ABA training and experience.
