POSITION: Elementary Teacher / Instructional Innovation Teacher (1) (LOA) PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Instructional Innovation Teacher is a building-based educator who supports student achievement while fostering innovative, STEAM-focused teaching and learning across grades K-5. This position provides engaging, standards-aligned instruction and collaborates with school staff to implement innovative instructional practices that enhance student learning and align with the New York State Learning Standards. REQUIREMENTS: NYS Valid Certification and License - Childhood Education (Grades 1-6), Early Childhood Education (Birth–Grade 2), Elementary N-6 LOCATION: Van Cortlandtville Elementary School ANTICIPATED DATES: October 6, 2026 – November 25, 2026 (anticipated) TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: Leave Replacement SALARY: Bachelor’s Degree: Day 1 – Day 20 - $185 per diem Day 21 – End of Assignment $230 per diem on the 21 st consecutive day of the assignment and retroactive to the first day of that assignment. Master’s Degree: Day 1 – Day 20 - $185 per diem Day 21 – End of Assignment $271 per diem on the 21 st consecutive day of the assignment and retroactive to the first day of that assignment.
