The Lakeland Central School District is hiring Bus Monitors for the 2025-2026 school year. Bus Monitors are responsible for ensuring a safe and orderly environment on school buses, including supervising the loading and unloading of students at designated stops. Key Responsibilities: Maintain order and safety during bus rides. Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus. Exercise good judgment and interact positively with children. Address student behavior in a courteous yet firm manner. Requirements: Ability to build positive relationships with children. Strong judgment and interpersonal skills. Schedule: Monday through Friday Morning Shift: 6:30 AM – 8:30 AM Afternoon Shift: 1:45 PM – 4:00 PM Hours may vary depending on bus routes.
