VACANCY: Interim Assistant Superintendent for Instruction POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Board of Education for the Lakeland Central School District announces a vacancy for the position of Interim Assistant Superintendent for Instruction.Summary: Reporting directly to the Superintendent, the Interim Assistant Superintendent for Instruction will provide leadership for educational programs that challenge all students to achieve high levels of success and ensure equitable outcomes for everyone. The candidate will support principals and school staff in areas such as student achievement, curriculum implementation, assessments, data-driven decision-making, strategic planning, and staff supervision. As a member of the Superintendent's cabinet, the selected candidate will work collaboratively to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. A successful track record as a school district administrator is required.Other Duties: Performs and completes other duties and responsibilities as specifically determined by the Superintendent of Schools. QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate will hold a valid NYS SDA or SDL certificationMaster’s Degree required. Doctoral degree preferred experience.
