Lakeland Central School District is seeking School Bus Drivers This employee operates a school bus on a regular schedule and on special occasions, as needed. Other duties include checking operating condition of the bus, informing children about safety practices, maintaining orderly conduct of children on bus, and maintaining records of mileage, routes, time and incidents. Good knowledge of driving safety practices and traffic laws and regulations, ability to operate a bus under difficult driving and road conditions, ability to get along well with children and command their respect. Must possess the appropriate license to operate a school bus (CDL) issued by NYS Department of Motor Vehicles and must be at least 21 years of age. In addition must have the "S" school bus endorsement. Salary: $30.46 - $38.37 per hour. Employees new to the district will be hired at the lower salary. Hours: TBD
