Lakeland Central School District is seeking a teacher aide in our district to assist certified school teachers in their duties in the classroom. This employees provide assistance in direct support of a teacher and may provide one to one assistance to a student with disabilities such as taking notes, helping with mobility issues, assisting with personal care, etc. Also they may provide assistance to students in equipment adaptation to facilitate learning, mobility and/or communication. Acceptable Training and Experience: Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma or an equivalent amount of experience and training sufficient to indicate ability to perform the work.
