Lakeland Central School District is seeking a Messenger-Custodial Worker. This employee sorts and delivers mail, records, packages and materials to points within and outside the district. Clerical work is limited to keeping records concerning deliveries and received items. This employee will operate a school vehicle to make mail deliveries. This employee will also perform routine cleaning, maintenance and makes minor repair tasks. Examples are removing garbage, cleaning and mopping lavatories, clearing litter and debris, clearing snow and performing a variety of errands and related custodial tasks. May provide monitor/receptionist support in the district office. Minimum acceptable training and experience: Completion of two years of high school or two years work experience. Possession of a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in NYS at the time of appointment. Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. M-F. This is a 12 mos. position. Salary: $34,402 - $42,234.
