Position: Early Intervention Special Instruction ProviderFamily of Kidz is seeking a proactive and engaging Early Intervention SpecialInstruction Provider who is passionate about working with 0-3 year old childrenwith disabilities. Be a part of our best-in-class team to deliver the highest quality ofcare!In this highly visible and fast-paced role, you will be joining a dynamic SpecialEducation team whose goal is to provide data-based, effective programming to ourstudents and a collaborative and supportive work environment to all teammembers!About this role:• Home and Community Fee-For-Service Special Instruction• Day, evening and weekend opportunities available• Early Intervention services operate 365 days a year and can be flexiblyscheduledEssential Duties and Responsibilities:• Work with students in the home and community to provide individualizedlessons which target goals from the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)goals• Develop creative and multi-sensory lessons based on IFSP goals to engageand captivate learners with various abilities• Collect meaningful data on IFSP goals and report quarterly on child’sprogress with IFSP goals• Ongoing communication with supervisors and multidisciplinary team• Maintain accurate attendance and submit electronic billing on a daily basis• Attend professional development trainings to maintain best practice approachand continue personal development• Maintain professionalism with parents, teachers, and other professionals• Attend IFSP meetingsSkills and Competencies:• Passionate about working with children and their families• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Strong ability to collaborate with various professionals• Self-starter and independent problem solver• Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail• Sterling values, high integrity, empathetic and considerate• Ability to function well in a high-paced and dynamic environment• Flexible thinker with the ability to pivot when necessary• Must be a team-playerQualifications:• NYS Certification B-Grade 2 Certification• Minimum of (1) year experience working in a setting focusing on supportingchildren and their families preferred• Bilingual is a plusThen we are looking forward to receiving your resume!Why join our Family?Since 1998, Family of Kidz has brought together highly qualified teams ofprofessionals who work diligently to help children with special needs, from birth toadulthood.
