Maintenance Mechanic 3The Kings Park CSD is seeking a Maintenance worker for immediate hire. This position is responsible for the maintenance of our school facilities. Trade Skills: Carpentry, Plumbing, Painting, Electricity, Mechanical and Welding. Other specialty trades areas include, but are not limited to heating and refrigeration, audio systems, roofing, sheet metal, fuel storage tank and maintenance, temperature control, control wiring, complex high temperature water systems, electronics, masonry, elevator repair, sewage treatment, glasswork, and repair and maintenance of equipment and machinery.Qualifications: Either:(a) Completion of two years of vocational education courses in a vocational school program or in an apprentice or training program in one of the craft areas, and two years of experience in the craft or specialty to which the incumbent will be assigned; or,(b) Four years of experience in the craft or specialty to which the incumbent will be assigned; or,(c) An equivalent combination of the above education, or training, and experience as defined by the limits of (a) and (b) or,(d) One-year experience as a Maintenance Mechanic ll
