Location: Meadow Pond Elementary School Anticipated Start Date: ASAP through June 30, 2026 Qualifications: NYS Certification required – School Social Worker NYS Social Work License (LMSW or LCSW) Masters in social work (MSW) Responsibilities: Provide group and individual counseling. Provide crisis intervention and support students during times of emotional distress. Support school-wide social-emotional learning initiatives. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, school psychologists, and related service providers to support students. Attend CSE meetings. Experience with students at elementary levels is preferred. Salary: Long-term substitute teachers work 30 days or more but less than five months and are compensated $110/day for the first 30 days; on the 31 st day (assuming the prior 30 days were consecutive workdays) the daily rate is increased to $317.42, retroactive to the first day of the assignment.
