The Jamesville-DeWitt CSD is seeking a teacher on special assignment to support and strengthen our elementary ELA curriculum. The position involves peer coaching, curriculum development, delivery of professional learning, and leading data analysis meetings with teachers and building leaders. Candidates with training in research-based practices and literacy instruction are preferred. The position reports to the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction, and Equity. This is an 11-month position which consists of the regular 10-month teacher calendar and 20 days to be completed over the summer/breaks. The schedule for the 20 days is coordinated with the ASCIE. This probationary position includes the benefits of the JDFA contract, including health, dental, and vision benefits.
