Job description:Immediate Job Opportunity AvailableSeeking a FT dedicated SLP for our Just Kids New Suffolk site to work with students in grades K–2 diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).Requirements:Must possess a Master's Degree (M.A. or M.S.) in Speech/Language Pathology (or eligibility) or Communication Sciences from an accredited college or university.Must hold a valid Certification as a Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped or equivalent from NYS Education Department (Division of Teacher Certification).License and current registration from the NYS Education Department (Division of Professional Licensing) to practice in the State of NY as a Speech Pathologist.General Duties:This position involves providing speech and language therapy through both push-in and pull-out models, focusing on individualized interventions aligned with IEP goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and will work collaboratively with teachers, specialists, and families to enhance communication skills.
