Responsibilities Instruction: Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with NYS Science Learning Standards (NYSSLS) and 3-dimensional learning frameworks. Curriculum: Collaborate with department peers to iterate and enhance curriculum for diverse learner needs. Assessment: Create and utilize authentic, performance-based assessments to monitor progress and provide targeted intervention. Community: Maintain proactive communication with families and contribute to school-wide professional development and initiatives. Classroom Environment: Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels a sense of belonging and physical/emotional security. Qualifications Required: Valid NYS Certification in Chemistry (7-12).
