JOHNSON CITY CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT Long Term Substitute – 1 Yr. assignment SCIENCE TEACHER (Physics) – PT 30% (1 Class Daily + 1 Lab Every Other Day) DATE: April 21, 2026 EFFECTIVE DATE OF ASSIGNMENT: September 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027 LOCATION: Johnson City High School STARTING SALARY: Current Entry Salary (Higher rates available with prior experience) This will be prorated since not a full day Bachelors: $59,136 Masters: $63,352 REQUIRED CERTIFICATION: Candidates with a valid NYS Certification in Physics preferred. All science certifications considered. Candidates who have just completed degrees and are finalizing certification are welcome to apply.
