Multiple certifications and extensions in STDIS desirable, including Initial/Professional Students with Disabilities (B-2).Candidates who have just completed degrees and are finalizing certification are welcome to apply.The Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate the Ability to:• Create and maintain a learning environment for students that nurtures academic and social-emotional growth.Intervene with students individually and in small groups to support academic progress and access to grade level curriculum. • Make contributions to the culture of the school district both in and outside of the classroom setting.• Work effectively with colleagues to plan and implement curriculum, design engaging and relevant daily lessons, analyze and respond to data from common assessments, and to create interventions and enrichments for the purpose of meeting the individualized needs of all students.• Commit to being a lifelong learner, always seeking improvement of teaching practices.
