Qualified candidates will demonstrate a basic awareness of these commitments and a strong willingness to support these efforts.Possession of (or proof of eligibility for) New York State certification in Technology is required.Position Description: The successful candidate will: Have excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to apply culturally responsive teaching strategies to motivate and engage students from diverse backgrounds and range of interests.Have a firm understanding of the engineering design process, modeling and prototyping in a multitude of materials; work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team.Be able to problem solve individually and work as part of a dynamic, interdisciplinary team.Demonstrate an ability to improvise and adapt to new conditions within the ever changing field of technology.Familiar with a wide array of tools and machines as well as material processing, including but not limited to: CAD, CAM, CNC, 3D printing, welding, and laser cutting and engraving.
