Social Studies Teacher - .6 FTE ('26-'27 school year) Island Trees Memorial Middle School, Nassau County, seeks a talented and motivated educator for a .6 social studies teaching position for the '26-'27 school year. This teacher will be expected to work collaboratively within our social studies department to support and further develop in our students the skills associated with creativity, communication, and critical thinking. Candidates must possess a valid NYS teaching license in social studies. Please note that daily building substitute opportunities will be made available to the successful candidate for the non-scheduled portion of the school day.
