Social Studies Teacher - Leave ReplacementIsland Trees Memorial Middle School, Nassau County, seeks a talented and motivated educator for a leave replacement social studies teaching position. This teacher will be expected to work collaboratively within our social studies department to support and further develop in our students the skills associated with creativity, communication, and critical thinking. Candidates must possess a valid NYS teaching license in social studies. The expected length of this leave is September 19-October 31. Please note that daily building substitute opportunities will be made available to the successful candidate for the period preceding and after this leave appointment.
