Island Trees is seeking outstanding candidates who possess NYS certification in elementary special education for an anticipated full-time position for the 2024-2025 School Year. Successful candidates will not only demonstrate strength in communication and collaboration skills but will also have effective classroom management and behavior intervention skills and show an ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs. Experience in a self-contained class utilizing ABA methodologies is preferred. Qualified candidates can submit their resume, letter of interest and proof of certification through OLAS.
